I have been meaning to change the directions of my posts to something a little bit more meaningful, or at least, game reviews. Up until now, things have usually been about something that I am either outraged about, or my boring daily routine. Although this post is sort of a review, its more about a new outrage of mine.
So at E3, Microsoft announced a new update for the Xbox 360.

Now, just from reading all of these great new features, the update sounds great. Looking at it more closely, however, you can easily see that the dashboard has been shat on, before being exposed to nuclear radiation for long periods of time, causing severe deformities and diseases.
This make-over ruined a classic design. Not only does this new layout suck my left testicle because of its wasted space, boring design, but it sucks extra hard due to the new avatars. Now, every person with an Xbox 360 who envies Wii owner will be happy. I have no idea where else this idea could have came from. The other fact that Microsoft's apparently overlooked was that the original design, which probably cost millions of dollars to create, actually contained detials and complimented the physical design of the system. This new looks like they asked a third grader to make a design.
So basically, I'm just mad that my system interface will drain all of the happy from my life.
