Well my friends, it hasn't been that long. Unfortunately this post isn't as interesting as the last, but if definitely contains contents.
My first little rant is about our friend Lmack. Before he came to Waterloo to visit me (and Tingles) 2 weeks prior, we were chatting on the tele. He told me about this great idea he stole to make a 3way post about our adventures. Already in the mindset that this event was blog-worthy, I jumped at the idea to turn this weekend into a saga.
I pitched the idea to Tingles, who agreed to its brilliance. Everything was well, the wheels begun to spin. As the weekend ended, we divided the course of events and began on our way. Tingles started us off nice & early with the introduction, & I followed suit within a week with the main body of this epic event. Unfortunately for you, my dear readers (if there are still any), the cliffhanger ending to my contribution have left you hanging, and I apologize if your arms are getting tired.
Lmack is supposed to finish the story with the conclusion, but for one reason or another, has not. I am a little disappointed as its going on 2 weeks since the event. I have no doubt that he will finish it (I believe the post is due latter this day), but I worry that the quality will be lacking for 2 reasons.
The first is time. I do not doubt that he will forget some interesting details which I probably don't remember at this point. Its not a huge deal, but why read a good post when you could read something really good.
My second objection to this delay is that he will probably combine this post with other blog-worthy events that have occurred in the past 2 weeks. Not that he can't post how he wants, but it could distract from the content at hand move focus to less awesome adventures.
This whole tri-post was his idea, and it saddens me a little bit that he is falling behind on it. All in all, I still anxiously await the suspenseful conclusion.
Next up: Hitman. I saw it last night, and I must say, the movie far exceeded my expectations for being another video-game-made-movie.... thing. The action was good, with guns and bombs and all that good stuff (no car chases, however). It also had some good one liners that made you laugh with the movie, . All in all, if you go in expecting it to suck, then you will be pleasantly surprised with suspense, action, and a little bit of deceit.
Something that bothered me with the movie was the previews however. Now I can't give an opinion on the following series of movies, as I haven't seen any of them (don't be hatin', Lmack), but I think it needs to stop. If you're still unclear what I'm talking about, here is a trailer.
I will leave Lmack to comment on that.
As for myself, class is done, and I am ecstatic about moving home. I have a stupid-ass project to do still in cs246, which is about as specific as the term "I'm over here." Shitty part is its worth 9% and not even the prof, the guy who came up with this code trap, has a fucking clue how it works. I really don't know what will come of it, I'll let you know after exams.
Exams are done Dec. 13th for me, at which point I will be moving back to Stratford until May, for my co-op position. Lots of gaming, drinking, and awesomeness need to happen then, especially on the X-mas break. I hope to be hosting a pre-bar night party on Friday, the 21st. Check in for details.
As always,
Captian Wolfgang86,
Stay Sharp.

"if you go expecting it to suck"
Personally, I don't go to movies in the first place if I expect them to suck so this strategy might not work...
Well, Hitman is a movie that looks & sounds like it has potential, but being based off of a video game, you still expect it to suck.
