Now, to pick things up where my blog left off…
X-mas was good, btw.
January
Things with Teo seem to be getting better (I think I mentioned that just before x-mas we weren’t doing too well). Oh how wrong I was. Things were getting better until the end of the month when she came to visit me in
That’s about all I can remember from January. School was just okay, but most of my life revolved around either feeling like shit about my relationship or…. No, that’s about it.
February
First, a little background for everyone who forgot (aka everyone). Teo & I have almost been together for 2 years. I absolutely love her & would do anything for her. Even though things are shitty right now, I can easily see us spending the rest of our lives together.
5th: Teo and I get in a big fight, and she leaves me. Doesn’t really hit me too hard yet.
6th & 7th: I begin to get really upset over
8th: I find out Teo is now seen some new dude. I think I can sufficiently say I am not impressed.
The coming 6 weeks are possible the worst 6 weeks of my entire life. While making countless pathetic attempts, begging her to take me back, I become very depressed, spending most nights sobbing myself to sleep. I bomb my C&O (introduction to combonatorics) math class midterm with an awesome 26%, and begin to feel like my world is coming to an end.
(spoiler alert, I pass the C&O with a 52%. Huge improvement, & enough to never have to see any of it again)
18th: What would have been our 2 years. This day sucked.
March
By the end of the 6 weeks, Im slowly starting to feel better.
8th:I finally convince myself I need to go talk to someone about how I am feeling, seek help. My appointment was made about a week in advance, so this was a while coming. Being the very withdrawn individual that I am/was, I had a hard time with this. But I forge my way through it.
I leave his office, feeling a lot better (not completely, but what felt like light years ahead of where I was). I get home & begin doing some homework for once. I take a break & hop on the ol’ facebook. I decide I’m going to try & find Maranatha’s old roommate the Hurley double. “It would be nice to have some more people on
Incase you are wondering a, wtf does this have to do with anything, & b, why do I care, I’ll tell you. First of all, there is a lot of fucking girls with that name at this school. As I am trying to find her, I see a picture of a girl that looks familiar for some reason. I click it. Profile says her hometown is
Latter in the evening, the mystery girl messages me back & we get to talking. Apparently she has been at major events in my life (major is a relative term here, ie. SOAD concert in
After some more talking, we decide to hang out, as I feel like shit & think meeting someone new is a hell of a lot better than writing a baby compiler. Things go swimmingly well & we talk into the wee hours of the morning. It is around 7-9 am that I decide that we both go independently pass out.
Within 2 weeks, this girl, Tinglez, and I are dating. I am a little hard to get along with at first, as I had just managed to crawl out of hell in one piece, but needless to say, here we are today (going on 8 months together, for our mathematically challenged friends…. Or lazy asses).
April/May
Finally, the term concludes and life is somewhat normal again. I begin my new job as a programmer analyst at Schaeffler
Other exciting events include me joining the FAG dragon boat team “Bearing Arms” (an extremely well constructed name). It was actually my cousin that made me interested in this sport the previous year, but it was Tinglez and her family who live for the sole purpose of paddling, that actually got me into it. Now, paddling with Tinglez, her dad the ‘Coach’, & her mom
July & Random Bits from Summer
Finally, my job has meaning! I get to work on something relevant now, am put in charge on another co-op, & begin cracking skulls on my new project. This occupies me for the remainder of my work term, which has no major complaints.
Something that totally shocked me was some news from Teo. Apparently now engaged to her new boy. That’s all I have to say about that….
The rest of the summer is filled with beach outings, quality time with Tinglez, Halo parties, a plethora of tasty wings from the Boar’s Head, and a few drunk times. The dragon boating thing serves me well, as a few medals are won as dragon filled adrenalin paddles its way through my veins. Tinglez & I get to see the White Stripes in
August
I buy some toys! I decide (after much contemplation) to indulge myself in some high tech goodies. First on the list, 24” Dell LCD for my computer. Yes, it is as nice as it sounds. Next up is an Xbox 360. This console is intended for one purpose, which turns out to be awesome. The last toy I buy is an IBM Thinkpad notebook to use in classes. I end up with an awesome deal through work and almost die waiting the 6 weeks for it.
As the end of summer came about, Maranatha expected to be leaving out west, I decide a party of mass consumption is in order. The party goes well, minus the spreading viral infection resulting in below normal foot temperatures causing Maranatha to not move (no complaints, however). The end of summer also marks the end of my work term, and my review turns out awesome, and I am going back (with a catch).
September
After a full hearted goodbye from my comrade, moving back to school kinda sucked. Everything goes well until I get to my new place (a university townhouse). Its dirty, awkward, and broken. Things get better as I get settled, but it was a shitty first time experience. This term I get to be an RCC (residence computer consultant) and help people connect god damn vista to the improved, yet still shitty for new reasons, resnet. I wouldn’t normally do something that bugges me so much, but I get paid & receive free food & gadets, so I feel for it… Oh what a fool I was.
Only 3 weeks into classes, its time for Tinglez & I to be together for 6 months. On this day, we join Maranatha, Marsh & Play Gurl to
The new album kicks total ass and their spins of oldies rock even harder than before. Although it was a short show, it was awesome.
Around this point, you must be thinking “boy, you must really be enjoying your Thinkpad, Wolfgang.” You’re wrong. On the 6th week, I call to see when I can be expecting this dream machine. My stomach sinks & face runs pale as the next words as said to me; “Lenovo doesn’t carry the parts of the model you ordered, so they cannout build your laptop.”
Fudge Knuckles.
6 god dam weeks to tell me THAT?! I’m furious & tell Mr. salesman what I think of that. (keep in mind I already received & paid for the 2nd battery I bought). The next 2 weeks are spent trying to get some sort of deal out of Lenovo, but to no avail. I return the battery at no cost to me, & begin looking for a new notebook.
I waste countless hours searching for the perfect match for me. Yet, misfortune finds me again. I thought I got paid every 2 weeks during the summer. As it turns out, it was twice a month. That miscalculation is about 3 paychecks a year, or one per summer; also known as the amount I was spending on a notebook. Flash forward to today where I am waiting until next work term to buy one.
Some good does cheer me up though. Remember that Xbox 360? Well its purpose has arrived.
Halo 3.
School work interrupts Maranatha coming down early to play with me, but things even out early October and, well, go read his summary of it.
October
I totally bomb my CS245 midterm & drop the class.
27th Tinglez throws me a kickass surprise party, with awesome Halo 21 cake, big pizza, various drinks resulting in pleasant intoxication, and vague memories of pita pit. The Sunday following I stupidly drink OJ, throw up, & then go to my family shindig back home.
31st I turn 21.
That my friends bring us to current day November, where not much exciting is happening. I swear, I’m going to try to stay on this blogging thing better then I recently have. This post is bigger than my last work report (1897 words)!
I hope this was enjoyable to read or at least, informative. More exciting things to come, stay tuned.
Wolfgang, over & out.
PS. I had a really cleaver title, but it was lost in time.

*tear* I'm soo proud! *tear*
Let me rephrase:
Welcome back. You have been missed. I especially appreciated the funny title.
You clearly put a lot more effort into this than I thought you were going to. This is to be commended. I don't know if I would have posted everything you did about breaking up with that Romanian whore, it was very brave.
Please keep posting regularly.
I agree with martha. This post was very interesting and I will be a frequent reader if you give me frequent reads. Another thing, this post has inspired me to form a band called: The FAG dragons
